I am very happy to share that Audio Product Academy has just released its first online course. Let me say a few words about how the audio product team can benefit from it.
Why is “Building your first AI agent” first?
This is the title of the first course. It teaches how to apply agentic AI in product work in pro audio: as a PM, Designer, Project Manager, QA and more. You will go from the fundamentals, like installing basic tools, through setting the context layer to advanced orchestration of CLI tools and scripts.
Why did I start with Agentic AI?
I am not particularly a big AI enthusiast. In fact, I have a lot of doubts of the ethical nature. I am also very aware of the limitations of LLM models. On the other hand, I also know product people are running between sprint planning, stakeholder meetings, and user workshops. There is never enough time to do things right. As an entrepreneur who runs a small family business, the idea of an AI-first company – having 2 people + 10 agents was very attractive too. Having freedom and financial stability without working yourself into exhaustion is really a great idea.
At the time, I used to work on Avid Pro Tools teams, and I could experiment a lot with the complex and well-structured audio organisation – QAs, Product Owners, Project Managers. I took me a year of sleepless nights and working weekends, but I ended up building a harness for almost the entire product and audio engineering team. At the same we were slowly transforming the Academy by building multiple agents that help me and Daria with day-to-day operations that grew: the podcast, the newsletter, meetups all over Europe.

Finally, together with Tomasz, we started to share this knowledge at AI-Augmented PM and AI-Powered Team workshops where we helped managers from companies like NeuralDSP, Krotos Audio, and Source Elements. After a few editions, I realised that not only do I have unique skills, but also a very well-designed agentic AI program that has been battle-tested with top audio teams.
Just completed the AI-Augmented PM Workshop. This was not another “future of AI” session. It was six hours of practical work: setting up AI-powered PM workflows, using agents, working with prompts, automations, and learning how to get out of the Jira-ticket treadmill. I strongly recommend this workshop to any audio Product Manager, as well as Project Managers, QAs and Founders who want to stop treating AI as a toy and start using it as a real operating system for strategy, execution, and day-to-day product work – said Gonzalo Muruaga from NeuralDSP.
So I after I left Avid in June, I spent 3 intense months producing the course: recording the lessons, preparing materials and in post-production.
What’s inside?
In Building Your First AI Agent for Product Work, you’ll learn to build any agent you want by yourself
You will start by building your workspace in Visual Studio Code, connecting your LLM subscription and basic tools such as Jira or Figma through MCP. Then you will build your first agent using a master prompt and memory folder – special files that will help your agent to understand the goals, processes and working context. You’ll then create reusable prompts, skills, workflows, and sub-agents for product tasks. After that you will add guardrails and learn how to audit the system. Finally, you will learn about CLI tools and how to use scripting inside the agentic workspace.
This course has a goal of giving you a solid foundation that will allow you to build any agent you want by yourself – so you too can quietly experience the radical improvement in productivity.

What’s next?
I am currently working on the Introduction to Audio Product Management. This course covers all the fundamentals of the product craft, from finding the right problems, through scoping a product idea and building and testing a business model, to delivering and maintaining audio products – hardware and software alike. It will be a great entry course for audio students, first-time founders and anyone willing to transition to product roles in the industry.

And its pleasure to do something other than AI (though we will also cover how AI changes the product management role)
This course will be available in the autumn; I will keep you posted on the progress.
And no, my agent did not write this article:)
